The Five Steps Along The Way:

Screening

We only work with qualified pre-screened buyers who have signed a confidentiality agreement. We only work with sellers who have a legitimate business to sell.

Financial

We require sellers to provide up to date income statements and 3 years of tax returns on the business. We require potential buyers to submit a financial statement. We assist buyers secure financing and prepare banker friendly loan proposals.

Marketing

When a house is offered for sale, the owner generally wants the "world" to know about it. But when a business is for sale, the owner is very concerned about confidentiality (as pertains to their employees, landlord, competitors, suppliers, etc.)

Negotiation

Price is a very touchy subject. The seller has likely put heart and soul into the business and values it higher than a buyer trying to get the most for their money. We are sensitive to both and act as the intermediary.

Coordination and Closing

Once an agreement is reached, we then coordinate with attorneys, accountants, bankers, landlords, utility companies, and title companies to move towards a smooth and successful closing.
